Its defining proposition is not a single headline feature, but the concentration of professional-grade capacity into a 1.39kg machine: AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, 128GB of memory, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and an OLED touchscreen all share a 13.3-inch format.
Compact power
The processor is the central argument. With 16 cores, 32 threads, a 3.0GHz base frequency and speeds up to 5.1GHz, the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is designed for substantial multitasking and demanding professional workloads. The 80MB cache and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics add to a specification that is clearly positioned above basic everyday computing. This is a high-capacity foundation rather than a lightly configured ultraportable.
The 128GB memory allocation is equally notable. It gives the system considerable headroom for large projects and numerous concurrent applications, while the 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD provides a sizeable internal workspace using a current high-speed storage interface. Those figures make the PX13 particularly relevant to buyers who need capacity as much as mobility.
A focused display
The 2,880 x 1,800 resolution is well matched to the 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen’s compact format, producing a dense workspace on paper. Touch input adds a direct interaction method, though the screen’s size remains a meaningful consideration for detailed creative tasks or workflows that depend on several visible panels. The 60Hz refresh rate is another clear boundary: the panel is specified for standard 60Hz motion rather than a higher refresh presentation.
That trade-off does not undermine the PX13’s identity, but it does sharpen its buyer profile. This is a small professional canvas carrying substantial computational resources, not a large-screen desktop replacement.
Practical flexibility
Connectivity is impressively broad for a compact design.
